In the construction of cell-centered finite volume schemes for general diffusion equations with discontinuous coefficients on distorted meshes, auxiliary unknowns are usually introduced to resolve discontinuities across cell-edges. In general, it is difficult to express unconditionally auxiliary unknowns as a convex combination of primary unknowns around. In this talk, we introduce a nonlinear convex combination method, in which each vertex unknown is eliminated by a nonlinear convex combination of two cell-centered unknowns. As two application examples we present two cell-centered schemes satisfying the maximum principle based on the nonlinear convex combination. Numerical results are presented to show the accuracy of the resulting schemes and verify the discrete maximum principle.
报告人简介:
盛志强,北京应用物理与计算数学研究所研究员。2007年6月毕业于中国工程物理研究院研究生部,获博士学位。毕业后进入北京应用物理与计算数学研究所计算物理实验室工作,2008-2010年在法国巴黎第六大学做博士后研究。主要从事辐射流体力学计算方法研究及程序研制工作。已出版专著1 本,发表SCI论文40余篇。曾获中国工程物理研究院首届科技创新奖一等奖。
