报告摘要：In this lecture, we deal with the electrostatic Born-Infeld equation. We are interested in the existence and uniqueness of the potential and finiteness of the energy of the electrostatic field. We establish some results by the direct method of the Calculus of Variations for a broad class of charge densities. Besides, we consider the system arising from the coupling of the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation with Born-Infeld theory.
报告人简介：Denis Bonheure，布鲁塞尔自由大学教授，长期致力于非线性分析理论的研究，并在 J. Differential Equations， Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations，Comm. Math. Phys.等期刊上发表文章八十余篇。
